Raffle results for Saturday 28 April were as follows: First prize of the ever-popular Cliffex meat tray went to John Farthing. John has loyally put up his money for the last six months and it's nice to see the major prize going to a regular supporter of the club's fund-raising policy. Second prize of a Heineken beer six-pack was won by Tony de Corrado. This is Tony's second win in the raffle this year, and while his wife probably would like to see a voucher to shop at Coles or Woolies we're sure that Tony's going to get much more out of his prize than his better half. Third prize went to Simon George who is still fairly new to the club, but who is showing by his excellent golf that he will give those of better than average ability a strong run for their money. He wins a new prize to the list: a six-pack of Bin Tang beer which is the beer that Australians visiting Bali prefer.

Raffle
Our raffle for April 14 shows that Alan Davies certainly has his timing right when purchasing tickets. The Cliffex meat tray first prize was won by Alan, this being his third collect in five weeks. Maybe a few pseudonyms using his name may be the way to go for others. Second prize, the Matilda Bay beer, went to Les Belot who took a leaf out of Jim Campbell's book by gaining success with a single ticket. Third prize of a Bunnings $20 gift card was won by Jimmy Rogers: not the first time he has had a win. Fourth prize went to Ken Greer who now has a voucher to play at Settlers Run.

Apologies to Fred Hedges for our error in results last week. The Buller's Muscat was won by Fred's daughter, and we hope a few sips of that made up for our mistake.

Raffle results for March 31 saw first prize go to a green fee player. Cyril Austin scored a meat tray which he was happy to evaluate on the spot because he happens to be a butcher. Our thanks to someone who not only used our course, but also used our bar facilities and bought raffle tickets as well. We have a few members who could learn from his co-operation. Second prize of a Matilda Bay beer pack went to Don Thompson, it being Don's second win of the year meaning that he has come second twice. Third prize of another Matilda Bay pack went to Peter Johnstone.

Results for 7 April had a variation from the normal meat tray prize because of the Easter break. First prize of a Buller's award-winning muscat went to Ron Cross's daughter. Again it was nice to see someone visiting the club participate in the raffle. Second prize of a Matilda Bay pack was won by Alan Davies. Alan also won second prize three weeks ago which also means that he joins Don Thompson with a winning double of two second prizes this year. Third prize of a six-pack of Heineken beer was won by Dave Walker. Congratulations to all prize-winners.

Raffle results for Saturday 24 March proved to be successful for our morning golfers with first prize of a meat tray going to Tony de Corrado. Second prize of a $20 Woolworths gift card was won by John Hayes, while third prize of the Matilda Bay assorted beers went to Geoff Hamill. This day was highlighted by a great playing turnup, yellow flags being waved here and there, and plenty of club house social activity.
